People call me Laki. I'm 22. I like architecture, photography and bicycling. Born in Belgrade and lived here ever since.

Belgrade is a capital of south-eastern Europe in many ways. It's my hometown that I love unconditionally. If coming here, be careful! You will easily fall in love. Only a nasty criticizing attitude can save you, but if you're like that, don't come. We like compliments.

@eniac who is a controversial Internet marketing professional coming from Serbia who strongly believes the time of awesome has come and who invites you to jump in asked if that’s Laki u Beogradu in one of numerous photo albums from the event of Tvitomanija. I couldn’t be more flattered that someone in Serbia, besides Serbians from America, have noticed my photo blog. So I decided to put a picture of myself so people could eventually meet me on the street and beat me up for photographing the inside of their apartment from the street or for not photographing the beautiful building they live in.

Now, the story of Tvitomanija. DAS RLY IMPORTANT, so please keep on reading. YA RLY!

Tvitomanija, the first local Twitter conference was held in Belgrade this Tuesday and Wednesday. Besides the discussions about the influence of Twitter on freedom of speech and non-censored flow of information and the importance of this for the country of Serbia, there were discussions between and with certain groups of more or less famous people who are using Twitter and loving it. The good thing about “the famous” is that they use Twitter to communicate with people and have fun rather than solely for promotion of their work.

It was a really successful gathering where a lot of people met each other and the others who were stuck in their homes or at work just couldn’t avoid #tvitomanija hashtagged posts on their timeline.
